We anticipate Christmas by giving our animals special gifts

hace 5 years

The Christmas programme will take place from December 6th to January 6th.
The magic of Christmas has reached Terra Natura Benidorm. We have created a special programme of entertainment activities for families, which will feature musical animations, puppets, craft workshops and storytelling.
On Saturdays, you can watch how the zookeepers deliver their gifts to the animals of Terra Natura Benidorm through an initiative of environmental enrichment. On this occasion, the team will make some Christmas boxes that inside will contain food to be delivered to marmosets, capuchin monkeys, jaguars, elephants, tigers and siamang.
The programme will include puppet shows and workshops that will be held at the Christmas Factory in the European area, where special crafts will be made, like the decoration of a snowman, the elaboration of slime or face painting.
The most interactive animation will take place on Saturday, December 8th, with the Christmas Storytelling at the Fairy and Elf School. The story goes about a naughty goblin who will try to steal the gifts that Santa wants to give to the children who will attend, those will have to prevent him.
The fun will continue with other shows such as the Christmas musical show, which will take place on December 28th, 29th and 30th in the Asian amphitheatre, called ‘X-MAS Rock’, this time the elves will reappear to make little ones be the true protagonists of the songs and dances.
On December, 29th the Ice Fairy will visit Terra Natura Benidorm. Dances, a parade of costumes and a workshop of snowflakes with photocall will take place.
The magical elves will welcome visitors every day, from next Thursday, 6th. The most traditional touch will come with the delivery of letters. Children can deliver their letters to Santa from December 6th and to the real postman from December 26th. With the delivery of the letter, the children will join in a raffle for toys and tickets for the park. During the Christmas programme, visitors can come from a special price of 19 euros.
