A delegation from Terra Natura Benidorm participates in AIZA’s Annual Congress in Barcelona

A delegation of experts from Terra Natura Benidorm has participated in the Annual Congress of the Iberian Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AIZA), which is being held since yesterday in the city of Barcelona and will end tomorrow June 3rd. Specifically, the meeting was attended by the general director of the park, Luis Perea, the head of the Animals and Education area, Enrique Sanchez, as well as professionals from the Veterinary area, including Gloria Ribera, among others. Terra Natura Benidorm is a member of the Board of Directors of AIZA.

The slogan of this year’s congress will be ‘Caring for biodiversity’, and a total of 68 technical presentations will be given on veterinary medicine, conservation, education, communication and aquariums. Likewise, the programme of the meeting will include the development of various round tables, conferences by invited experts and the exhibition of scientific communications by the zoos and aquariums that are part of AIZA. Among the speeches made, the talk by the Secretary of State for the Environment, Hugo Alfonso Morán, stands out.
