The aquatic entertainment designed for families will be a reality in the more than 1,000 meters of slides that owns the Aqua Natura Benidorm water park and that has just opened its doors one more season. The water park will remain open until 31 October. Visitors will enjoy many areas with slides and activities like the new educational demonstrations with the new family of Californian sea lions.
This year the resort has new educational demonstrations where these friendly mammals teach us their skills and intelligence while learning highlights of their conservation and protection of the oceans. As a novelty, therapeutic activities are also developed for people with disabilities.
Also, visitors will be able to participate in the “interaction with sea lions” and have a close experience with these animals, know the day to day of their trainers in the activity “zookeeper for a day”, swim and snorkel along with them and also take your picture. Aqua Natura last year became the first park in Spain certified by SiSSWA GmbH, a European badge that guarantees the quality of safety services and facilities.
Visitors will be able to go through multi-slides designed for adults and children. Among the slides are La Cresta attraction, a unique roller-coaster ride in the world that allows you to experience the sensation of zero gravity, or the Aqua Snake slide with a zigzag shape. The offer of adrenaline is complemented by other options like the open and curved mini-toboggan of 19 meters in length and another of 23 meters in length known as hydroturbo, among others.
In the more than 40,000 square meters of surface area of ​​the water park, visitors will find a massive pool, children’s pool, lighthouse jetty, VIP area, spa and solarium, as well as a multi-adventure area that was inaugurated last year and includes a horizontal climbing wall, a line of hanging rings and a net.
Becoming a mermaid will be possible thanks to the Mermaid School, where visitors can become a mermaid or newt, learning to swim with a mono-tail and dressing like these mythological beings.
