Terra Natura Benidorm has just opened the period to enroll in the Summer School for children between 3 and 12 years old. The summer school will be open from the 26th of June to the 1st of September and its main objective is to promote the reconciliation of families with the children’s holiday period, as well as to promote awareness of the environment.
To facilitate the conciliation, different schedules have been established that are adapted to the needs of each family. In particular, there will be a timetable from 8:00 am, called “matinera”; Another from 9 am to 2 pm, another from 9 am to 3 pm with food included, and another timetable from 9 am to 5 pm.
The planned activities are contact with animals and values ​​like respect and environmental awareness. The Summer School of the park offers the possibility of enjoying at the water park where children can start or perfect their style in swimming lessons, snorkel or entertain themselves in the water games that there are Installed in different areas.
The offer will be complemented with other actions like visiting the multi-adventure area, the animal facilities, crafts workshops such as the creation of toys for animals and the participation in the school of mermaids, newts and fairies. Children will also be able to enjoy the shows like the musical show entitled ‘Cats’, the demonstration of birds of prey and the new educational demonstration with sea lions.
Entering the prairies to put the food to the animals will be possible in this summer school, where the knowledge of nature is high. Children will also be able to learn the curiosities that hide the collection of poisonous animals that permanently reside in the volcano of the park such as arrow frogs, leaf ants, snakes and fluorescent scorpions, among others.
The groups will be limited and similar age and supervised by specialized personnel. The menus will be elaborated so the children have a balanced diet and will be communicated weekly to the families. Prices will vary from 15 euros per day to 310 euros for four weeks, meals are not included.
The educational program has been designed so the children reinforce the knowledge acquired during the school year while having fun in different activities and also can practice English through playful educational activities.
