Terra Natura Benidorm as a Training Hub for Vocational Students from L’Alfàs del Pi

hace 10 months

This morning, Terra Natura Benidorm and the Town Council of L’Alfàs del Pi signed a collaboration agreement that will enable the development of Level C Vocational Training programmes in a real working environment. The agreement was signed by the Mayor of L’Alfàs del Pi, Vicente Arques Cortés, and the General director of Terra Natura Benidorm, Luis Perea.

Thanks to this agreement, students enrolled in Vocational Training programmes linked to the attainment of Professional Certificates will be able to carry out practical placements within the park’s facilities. The initiative falls under the Vocational Training system governed by Organic Law 3/2022, which promotes a more flexible form of training closely aligned with the labour market.

Learning outcomes will be delivered through a dual system, both at the educational centre and at Terra Natura Benidorm. This blended approach will allow students to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting while strengthening their technical knowledge.

As the Mayor of L’Alfàs del Pi highlighted, “this collaboration reinforces our commitment to a modern vocational education system, closely connected to the productive sector and aimed at improving the employability and skills of young people in our municipality.”

In turn, Terra Natura Benidorm is “enhancing its role as an active educational partner and a dynamic learning environment focused on the natural world, biodiversity, and innovation in animal care,” stated Luis Perea during the signing of the agreement.
