The agreement has been signed during the celebration of FITUR and will allow the theme park be promoted as a tourist destination.
Terra Natura Benidorm has become the first theme park in the Valencian Community that signs a collaboration agreement with Renfe with the aim of promoting the theme parks as a tourist destination, and its geographical environment. The action seeks to promote and favour the arrival of visitors through railway transport to this park and the autonomous territory.
The signing of the agreement has been made at the celebration of the International Tourism Trade fair (FITUR), which takes place these days in Madrid. The event was attended by the director of Commercial Services of Renfe, Miguel Ángel Remacha, and the Commercial Director of Terra Natura Benidorm, Javier Zapata. Both representatives have agreed on the importance of the train as a way of tourism promotion.
For the commercial director of Terra Natura Benidorm “the signing of this agreement represents a very important step in the promotion strategy that we have been developing for years, since it helps us to consolidate as a reference in leisure tourism in the Valencian Community”. “This agreement will bring hundreds of people the unique offer of entertainment, conservation and nature that we provide in our parks,” Zapata said.
The agreement includes the promotion of Terra Natura Benidorm on high-speed trains through audio-visual equipment that travellers can see along their journey. Also, the park will be responsible for publicizing the services offered by Renfe Viajeros among its visitors, paying special attention to those who are linked to cultural tourism and congress tourism.
