hace 4 daysOver the long weekend in December, Terra Natura Benidorm is starting off the Christmas season with a packed schedule of family-friendly events. Visitors can enjoy a wide range of educational talks, animal enrichment, interactive experiences, and special themed events from December 6th to December 8th, all of which are intended to get you in the spirit of Christmas.
When Santa’s Little House opens on Friday, December 6th, little ones can deliver their christmas letters, take a Clavileño chocolate bar, and join the Colorbaby toy raffle. That’s when the magic starts. Additionally, the Ice Queen will visit the School of Fairies and Elves Christmas and greet visitors with open arms.
The Education Department is hosting a Christmas environmental enrichment workshop on Saturday in the multi-adventure area, December 7th, where children can also enjoy in the bouncy castle. Christmas elves will visit the School of Fairies and Elves on this occasion, bringing additional treats for visitors.
The fun will continue on Sunday, December 8th, when Stitch, a special guest who will amuse the young ones, visits the Fairies and Elves School. Visitors can take part in activities that blend fun and education over the holiday weekend. In addition to environmental enrichment displays aimed at advancing animal welfare, these include on-site talks about jaguars, tigers, elephants, capuchin monkeys, otters, and dromedaries.
Furthermore, there will be also enrichment activities for species like saimiri, flamingos, nilgos, cranes, muntjacks, and flying foxes and educational talks including birds of prey. The park has activities like swimming or dry interactions with sea lions in Aqua Natura (with neoprene), and the well-liked Discovery Elephants and Discovery Reptiles experiences for those seeking a more immersive experience.
