We celebrate our third Halloween Party with bright powders for a fear-free Halloween.
hace 2 weeksA one-of-a-kind celebration that mixes the mystique of Halloween with the colour explosion of Holi, providing daring fun for the entire family.
Terra Natura Benidorm will host the third edition of our renowned Holiween Party on Saturday, October 26th, combining the tradition of Halloween with the bright enjoyment of the Holi festival. This year, more than 300 kg of fluorescent powder will light up the night in a family event that will allow the children to enjoy Halloween without fear. The Holiween Party has established itself as one of the most anticipated events in the park, with a unique proposal in the province of Alicante.
The event will be held at Pangea, Terra Natura Benidorm’s major access area, and will begin with the distribution of luminous poder to visitors. To make the experience even more amazing, the park has increased the amount of black light devices compared to past editions, allowing the powders to glow brighter in the dark.
Inspired by Hindu Holi festivities, the Holiween Party will feature a ‘battle of colours’ to ward off evil spirits in a joyful and creative way. The party will begin with ‘Peque Radio’ performing music and dances for the children, and the entire area will be decked with projections of skeletons, pumpkins, and other classic characters from the witches’ night.
In addition to the war of colours, visitors can watch a magic show with the illusion expert “Mag Malastruc” at the park’s amphitheatre in the Asia area. This humorous and illusionary play will take place on October 26 and 27, as well as November 1 and 2. The meeting is scheduled for Saturday, the 26th, at 6pm.
For those who enjoy arts and crafts, the Fairies and Elves School will be hosting a make-up session for children and adults. The children will also be able to help make sweet boxes for traditional trick-or-treaters, who will be able to exchange their boxes for treats. The Fairies and Elves School experience in Asia will begin at 12pm, followed by a unique make-up, face-painting, and braid session.
Another highlight of the day will be a birds of prey flying show, with a special emphasis on nocturnal birds, which will allow guests to learn more about these interesting species in their natural habitat. The first flight demonstration will take place at 12pm in the Asia amphitheatre.
Terra Natura Benidorm’s unique Halloween programme will also include educational activities on the myths and mysteries of species like as bats, snakes, owls, and spiders. Visitors who are interested in reptiles can participate in the ‘Discovery Reptiles’ experience, which was devised specifically for Halloween and requires prior booking. The special Halloween programme at Terra Natura Benidorm will begin at 10:30am with the ‘Enchanted Animals’ gymkhana, available until 17:30pm, and the ‘Terrifying Creatures’ bat stand, which will be open in the America’s area from 10:30am to 12pm.
The ‘Terrifying Creatures’ snake stand will be open in Pangea from 12:30 to 14:00, with a snake talk at 12:45 in Asia. Reptile enthusiasts will be able to participate in the ‘Discovery Reptiles’ event (by reservation) at 3pm, followed by the gymkhana’s final test at 4pm.
