We have also shown in Fitur our virtual reality project to raise awareness about the conservation of endangered species.
The celebration of the International Tourism Fair (Fitur) has been the scenario chosen to consolidate the collaboration agreement between Terra Natura Benidorm and Renfe for the second year. The agreement will strengthen the promotion of the park as a tourist destination among users of sustainable transport, promoting its positioning as a park dedicated to the conservation of biodiversity and family leisure among travellers.
The act of signing the agreement has been assisted by the CEO of Renfe, Ramón Azuara, and the Commercial Director of Terra Natura Benidorm, Javier Zapata. The agreement contemplates the promotion of Terra Natura Benidorm in high-speed lines through audio visual material that will be broadcast during the trips. In parallel, the park undertakes to disseminate the services offered by Renfe Viajeros among its visitors.
On the other hand, the park has shown in Fitur the virtual reality project created in 360º that allows to offer visitors a unique vision of the animals that live in the park through smart glasses. It is an interactive project in which the public, in addition to seeing emblematic animals in danger of extinction, can also share images on their social networks.
The second phase of the project, which introduces this new technology to improve the user experience, will include the development of a game where visitors must help two characters take care of the animals that are in danger of extinction. This initiative seeks to raise awareness about the disappearance and conservation of species, as well as the importance of preserving animal welfare, in a playful, informative and entertaining way.
