Legends say that sea lions and\u00a0<\/span>mermaids protect all the living things that make the seas and oceans their home on this planet.<\/span>\u00a0But in point of fact, sea lions\u00a0<\/span>are overwhelmed with that huge mission and they need your help!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Every day in Spain we\u00a0<\/span>discard about 30 million cans and bottles<\/span>, and<\/span>\u00a050% of the plastic<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>is dumped without being recycled.\u00a0<\/span>8 million tons of rubbish reach the seas and oceans each year<\/span>\u00a0\u2013 more than 200kg per second!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The seas need your h<\/span>elp!\u00a0<\/span>Become a Guardian of the Sea yourself!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

With a little\u00a0<\/span>gesture you can help: every time you go to the beach, collect three pieces of plastic and dispose of them in the correct container!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Recycle and re-use. Choose\u00a0<\/span>re-usable containers made from materials with\u00a0<\/span>less environmental impact.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Stop using plastic bags and utensils and\u00a0<\/span>throwaway containers.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Avoid using micro-plastics<\/span>, and always dispose your rubbish in the correct containers.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The sea lions break the ice, helping us to\u00a0<\/span>open ourselves to interpersonal relations. They give us\u00a0<\/span>a desire to live anew, they increase our self-esteem<\/span>\u00a0and offer us moments of sheer joy.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
