We thus become the only theme parks in the province of Alicante that have this national distinction.

Terra Natura Benidorm and the Aqua Natura Benidorm water park have been awarded the seal of ‘Commitment to tourism quality’ granted by the Secretary of State for Tourism (SET). In this way, the parks become the only ones that have received this national tourist distinction.

The SET thus recognizes the actions developed by Terra Natura and Aqua Natura Benidorm to promote the continuous improvement of the quality in the tourist attention offered to visitors to both parks. The delivery of this recognition of the Integral System of Spanish Tourism Quality in Destinations (SICTED) took place in the auditorium of the Benidorm City Council coinciding with the official celebration of World Tourism Day.

The general director of Terra Natura Benidorm, Luis Perea, has stressed that “the business group to which we belong (Grupo Fuertes) and the Benidorm destination itself instill in us the culture of excellence in the services we provide to society”.
The SICTED distinctions are part of a project to improve the quality of tourist destinations in Spain, which in addition to being promoted by the SET, also has the support of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP). This initiative works with different companies and tourism services with the aim of reinforcing the experience and satisfaction of tourists.
