We launch ‘Sunset Experience’: small-group guided visits at sunset
hace 2 weeksAvailable from the Easter holidays, this new proposal offers a sensory journey with limited capacity, allowing visitors to discover animal behaviour at a unique moment of the day. We are launching ‘Sunset Experience’, a new sunset guided visit that allows visitors to explore the park from a different perspective – calmer, more intimate and closer to nature. Starting during the Easter
holidays, the activity invites visitors to discover the park’s habitats at a time of day when animal behaviour begins to change and the surroundings take on a quieter, more serene atmosphere. Available every Tuesday and Saturday, the experience is designed as a walking tour along a guided route that passes through different areas of the park as daylight fades and the animals prepare for the night.
This setting encourages a more relaxed pace of observation and allows visitors to notice behaviours that are less common during the busier hours of the day. Lasting approximately two hours and limited to 30 people, ‘Sunset Experience’ has been created to offer a more intimate and immersive visit, where connection with the natural environment takes centre stage. Throughout the tour, visitors are accompanied by specialised guides who share insights about the species and answer questions along the way. The route includes stops at several habitats within the park, where visitors may observe animals such as emus, flying foxes, dholes, rhinoceroses, tigers, lions, gibbons and elephants, among others.
The experience concludes with the opportunity to watch the sunset in a natural setting – a moment that reinforces the connection with the landscape and its wildlife. “This is an experience that transforms a visit to the park into a truly special memory. We want families to connect with nature in a more unhurried way, enjoying the surroundings and the animals at a unique moment of the day,” representatives from the park explained.
The activity is suitable for both adults and accompanied children, making it an ideal option for families during the holiday period. As places are limited, advance booking is recommended through the official website: www.terranatura.com Special Easter workshop In addition, the Education Department at Terra Natura Benidorm has designed a special Easter workshop that combines tradition, learning and environmental awareness. Through this activity, visitors will discover the origins of the tradition of giving and searching for eggs at Easter. Long before the custom became associated with chocolate eggs, it symbolised the arrival of spring and the birth of new life in nature. Through a short talk and a hands-on activity, attendees will learn to identify eggs from different species and understand the close relationship between wildlife and the conservation of their habitats. The initiative highlights the importance of protecting natural environments, reminding visitors that every egg represents the beginning of a new life and that safeguarding habitats is essential to ensure its development.
